GRAB Denim is focused on pure, design innovation. In a market where standing out is important – GRAB Denim has both a local and international Design Team that works constantly to innovate both its Fashion and Jean styling (not only to keep up to date with trends, but to create new ones as well)!!!

The history of GRAB Denim shows a strong commitment to Women’s Fashion and Jeans. However, since July of 2008 – GRAB Denim has committed to being relevant not only to Women, but also to Men, with the launch of its much anticipated Men’s Collection. A completely new and separate Men’s Design Team now work hand in hand with the Women’s Design Team, to build collections and stories relevant for Youth.

The Brand name itself points to the most important priority for GRAB Denim.  2008 will see the birth of GRAB Denim’s new marketing initiative “For the Love of Denim”. Simply put, GRAB Denim has a clear objective to make our Consumers look and feel great in their Jeans and all things Denim. A fun and very elaborate campaign will be launched later in the year to “celebrate” just how much the Brand and its Consumers actually love Denim!!!

You will find GRAB Denim at David Jones, Glue Stores, Globalize, Universal, Plunj and select independent Stores throughout Australia. Recently these Wholesale Partners, VIP’s and the entire GRAB family were invited to the GRAB Summer 2008 Launch. Held in a converted, minimalist warehouse located at Grab Industries HQ in Collingwood, Chadwick Models styled backstage by Napoleon and Toni & Guy worked key pieces on the runway from Grab Industries’ talented in-house design team to the beats of Cat Empire DJ ‘Jumps’.

Unpredictable denim jeans stole the show – black met lightwash material in a fusion of symmetry, relaxed fit skinny legs jeans were the central theme, and pure design innovation was revealed as reflective materials were highlighted in a mid-grey pair of jeans intended to just hit the hip. Earlier this year, GRAB Denim embarked on a nation wide revamp of its own Stores. Now, Stores in Paddington Sydney, Knox and Doncaster Shopping Centre, all share internal styling reflecting the essence of a sleek bar with authentic beer taps and real fridge’s to keep jeans cool for the busy shopper who has worked up a sweat.
The inspiration for the new fit out stems from the theory that the most common denominators shared by patrons in a bar, come down to a pair of jeans and a relaxed attitude.  The result, highly intoxicating fashion. You can find one of the GRAB Denim Bars in the store locator.

Women’s Jeans Fits

Just as everyone has their signature drink, so too does GRAB Denim. They understand denim styles are a highly personal issue. The new GRAB Denim series comprises of a variety of cuts representing different style tribes from around Australia. From far north is the relaxed low rise ‘Darwin’ skinny jean. Representing Sydney, is the sexed up super high waisted, ‘Rushcutter’ Jean. Melbourne gets two mentions, with the bohemian boot cut ‘St Kilda’ jean and the effortlessly cool straight leg cut ‘Greville’ jean named after the famous shopping strip. In addition to finding the perfect cut for your style and shape, each jean comes in  exclusive finishes and a range of washes from a ‘15 year wash’ to a jet black denim

Men’s Jeans Fits

With the new introduction of the Men’s GRAB Denim collection, GRAB has designed three unique jean fits that reflect the essence of the Melbourne suburbs they have been named after.  The three fits are the FITZROY Mid waist straight leg, BRUNSWICK Mid waist slim fit and the RICHMOND low rise slim leg.

There is no doubting the Team at GRAB Denim understands their Consumer well…as the majority of the Team is the Consumer!! You will find most of them Shopping on a Friday night, Partying on the Saturday, and Recovering on the Sunday.
